When I updated my iPod to 2.0, it exploded in my face, horribly disfiguring me for life. When I called Apple they told me I could never reveal what had happened, and when I refused, they sent goons to kill me. I jumped from a 39 story building into a truck mysteriously carrying hay through the city streets. They've been after me ever since. The hitmen wear Apple shirts, which is kind of strange.

I wish this was the first time this has happened with Apple, but they are just evil.

I just had to leave another comment.

Read the first sentence of your post... now take yourself back about six years and imagine your old self reading about your love of apple products.

Imagine the ramifications. The tears in the very fabric of space time.

Now imagine yourself buying a gateway laptop right now.

My how times have changed.

I know how you feel. I have been trying for three days to install the 2.0 update on my "just out the box" touch. After $10 and three restores on a relatives computer that still had itunes 7.6 and the 1.5 update I am still without the apps feature. Check on the web it seems there are lots of others with similar problems. I hope Apple figures this out soon and fixes it.
