Finally, Zen!
January 26th, 2007I finally have my very own copy of The Zen of CSS Design by Dave Shea and Molly Holzshlag. I’ve been wanting this book ever since it was published a while back (the exact date escapes me), but it was at a time where I just couldn’t justify the cost of any more computer books. I was in a bad habit of buying books that looked interesting, getting on with the initial flip-through, then leaving them on the shelf after being distracted by more urgent matters. I didn’t want this to be one of those books, so I held off, figuring that
- I would be able to give it the attention it deserved at some point in the future and
- The price would come down slightly from $40
It turns out I was half-right; I don’t really have more time but I am more dedicated, and Amazon.com had it marked down to a more affordable level for my poor college budget. Note: Hastings had actually marked the book up to $45. Shame on you Hastings, no link for you.
I’m still working my way through CSS Mastery by Andy Budd in my spare time; it’s one heck of a great read.
